General
Description
The AirPro® T1/E1
digital microwave radio provides solutions for high-bandwidth voice and
data applications between two locations up to 20 miles (35 km) apart. This
technology delivers very low bit error rate links that have high immunity
to interference. A pair of AirPro radios with line-of-sight access creates
a robust wireless link using spread-spectrum microwave transmission.
These links are ideal for public and private networks.
Applications include Wireless Local Loop (WLL), cell site interconnect,
Wide Area Networking (WAN), and Metropolitan Area Networking (MAN). High-performance
links are ideal for frame relay applications and last-mile feeders into
optical and satellite networks.
The AirPro family has advanced network management
features including software configuration with extensive Built-In Test
Equipment (BITE) and remote control of far end units over the microwave
links. These features help large network providers administer and maintain
their networks for maximum service levels.
